Bio

Adam was born in Morristown, New Jersey and graduated with degrees in Physics and Astrophysics from Rutgers University.  He received his PhD in Physics from The Ohio State University under the direction of Professor Fengyuan Yang, where his thesis focused on the synthesis, characterization, and device fabrication of fully ordered ferromagnetic double perovskite thin films.  He won the CNSI Elings Prize Postdoctoral Fellowship to conduct research at the University of California Santa Barbara from 2012-2015.

Dr. Hauser joined the faculty of the University of Alabama in 2015.
